Time to say Goodbye?

I feel conflicted writing this but I can confirm that our main collection scents are all retiring. While part of me is frustrated by the reasons behind this a bigger part of me is excited to be forced to release a lot of new scents I have been working on behind the scenes

WHICH SCENTS ARE RETIRING?

Bambino, Bellissimo, Massimo, Portofino, Ambra and Pomegranate Nero are all retiring. This means once all existing stock is sold it will no longer be stocked with the exception of Wax Melts which will be kept in stock while our final reserve of oil is used up.

WHY ARE THEY RETIRING?

I know many of you are sad to see your favourites leave - to be honest so are we - they are main collections due to their popularity and they have been with us for a long time BUT the world continues to feel the shock waves created by COVID - while during lockdown supply chains and pricing was the issue, today the issues are that many suppliers have closed down and those that remain can be mercenary as they dominate markets and hike up their profit margins. We refuse to be held to ransom - to continue to purchase individual oil components through unethical manufacturer would jeopardise our business or would require such a high price rise for our customers it would most certainly price our products out of the budgets of many #lussolovelies.

HOW LONG WILL FINAL STOCK BE AVAILABLE?

It is all listed on our website and is all reduced by 30%. You can find all final stock in our SALE section - once they are sold out they will not be stocked again

WHAT NEW SCENTS ARE COMING?

Six new scents will be released on 2nd February via our LIVE LAUNCH. In that first release we will have a real mix of cologne, perfume, clean, airy and mystical type scents so there will be something for everyone. As the months progress more lines will be added - at least one or two a month until we constantly have 12 scents in rotation. If products continue to sell in a scent we will keep it stocked - once interest slows down, the collection will retire. This way we can keep bringing you new, trending and seasonal blends but stay agile as a business.

I hope that reassures you all! I have deliberately ensured that each scent that is retiring has an alternative with similar qualities or complimentary scent notes. I know the love for certain scents is totally entwined with the identity of your home so I am working on new blends to try and recreate Bellissimo, Portofino and Pomegranate Nero in particular. They will not be identical and due to product testing and registration purposes they won't have the same name but already during the testing phase I am confident they will be an incredibly close match - it's a great opportunity to tweak and improve.
